This is a project I just finished with my music students. The size is about 40 x 50". They used colored pencils, pencils, markers and pens. I'm going to see about making posters in black and white. The black background to the left is actually a thick posterboard ... I can't think what it's made of right now, but its mounted with double sided foam-tape on a foam board. Yes. foam board. haha! Black foamboard.

Face Painting

Okay, here's a stretch. Painting on the face can be art.

This was taken in October for the homecoming football game.

Better lighting and it's great to have photoshop.

I was playing around with contrast and saturation. 

I was trying to find a way to make it black and white, with red showing. 

Anyway, I messed the butterfly up by adding the black on the lower wings.

I think it would have looked better with just the black outline.

Last years' facepaint looked much better.
