We actually used a sculpture.

Pencil. And the shadows from myself and the darker room make the white paper look different.

Same thing, the lighting was not perfect which made the white paper seem darker. 

Tefillin Completed

Left to do: Varnish and Frame (ordered).

(A little blurry, I'll take a better picture later.)

On the easel on the side so I could finish painting underneath the bottom. 

Adding Gold Leaf: Stage 4

This is stage 4 completed, nearly.

Putting goldleaf on oil was not my favorite thing.

It leads me to believe that this is the only time I'll work with it. 

Now, thinking about stage 5, with my model showing me what I need to do...

I need to redo the position of the index finger.

I hate the idea of redo-ing something.
